INSPIRATION FOR SHOE FOR DINNER

Shoe for Dinner is inspired by a personal anecdote. The writing below is from my substack cucumbers, where I write and draw uninhibited from personal anecdote without editing—just as an exercise. I feel the manuscript above is in need of a different element, and I’m currently working with the idea of re-writing it completely with a more narrative voice blended with dialogue, to strengthen the writing a bit. Very early stages with this one and curious to see where it will go!
